Concierge and Resident Services

Services on the Meadowood Campus:

Companion Care

At least 2 hours at a time, from once a week to 24 hours everyday at a regularly scheduled time of your choice, to help with:

• light housekeeping (such as ironing or trash removal)
• organizational tasks (such as cleaning closets or preparing shopping lists, writing letters)
• to provide companionship and conversation for a resident or a loved one to allow a respite from caregiving.

You tell us what you'd like (the list of possible services is very lengthy!) and we'll arrange those services for $15 per hour, matching you with a companion with whom you feel comfortable.

Supportive Care (part of Nursing Services)

Usually no more than 30 minutes at a time, Supportive Care can provide a range of non-medical services, from whirlpool baths ($25.00) to miscellaneous services such as medication reminders to helping with baths and dressing. Those services are charged at $20.00 for the minimum 30-minute time period, to $25.00 for 45 minutes or $30 for up to 60 minutes, and are provided by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).

On and Off the Meadowood Campus:

Concierge

Concierge services can be on campus (such as pet care or typing), but generally are going to be off-campus such as:

• Drop off or pickup of items
• You can be dropped off and picked up anywhere within city limits.
• Shopping from your list
• Personal Shopping
• Personal Driving
• Airport Transportation
• Traveling Companion
• Postal Services
• Medical Appointments – Personal Assistance
• Errands
• Prescription Pickup
• Animal Care
• Plant Care
• Moving Assistance
• Packing and Unpacking

Resident Services Packages

The packages bundle concierge services and some companion care into a monthly package that assures you will have access to the services you need. Many residents make use of the packages to plan regular escorted transportation.

We will also tailor other services specific to your needs upon request. A price list is available at the Concierge Desk in the Community Center.
