BLOOMINGTON VOLUNTEER NETWORK Promotes and facilitates volunteer activities throughout the community and assists agencies in the recruitment, utilization, & management of volunteers.
BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS Serves the emotional and social needs of 6 to 17 year olds who lack the supportive participation of two parents by facilitating professionally supported relationships with adult volunteers.
BLOOMINGTON AREA ARTS COUNCIL/JOHN WALDRON ARTS CENTER An organization dedicated to spreading the word that art is for everyone, by providing opportunities for all ages in performance, education, and exhibitions.
BLOOMINGTON COMMUNITY BAND Members range from teens to retirees, who play for festivals, 4th of July events, nursing homes and retirement communities. New members welcome.

BLOOMINGTON PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT Provides essential services, facilities, and programs for the positive development and well-being of the community through parks, trails, and recreational facilities.
BLOOMINGTON PLAYWRIGHTS PROJECT Dedicated to the development and production of new plays and theatre education through the School of Dramatic Arts (SODA), outreach in the schools, in-house workshops, and children's theatre.
BLOOMINGTON SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA Welcomes classically trained musicians to play during the September to May rehearsal and concert season. The organization also provides music education to the community through its programming.
BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA Hoosier Trails Council. A program designed to teach character, citizenship and personal fitness to young people while instilling traditional values, ethics, personal responsibility, and planning skills.
BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF BLOOMINGTON A year round after school and summer program organization with all programs designed around youth development principles.
COMMUNITY & FAMILY RESOURCES DEPARTMENT: SPECIAL PROJECTS The Department's Special Projects include Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission, Commission on the Status of Women, Council for Community Accessibility, and Commission on the Status of Black Males.
COMMUNITY KITCHEN Provides hot, nutritious meals to individuals in need -- Monday through Saturday, free of charge, no questions asked.
CRISIS PREGNANCY CENTER A faith-based social service agency providing comprehensive services to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of people affected by crisis pregnancies. Also operates Hannah House Maternity Home.
EVERGREEN INSTITUTE ON ELDER ENVIRONMENTS The Institute's goal is to create a vision of healthy urban environments for older adults. It conducts extensive research and provides senior housing counseling.
GIRL SCOUTS OF TULIP TRACE COUNCIL, INC. The Girl Scout Program links girls, ages 5-17 and adult role models in a working partnership, which stimulates self-discovery, provides fun and friendship, helps develop skills and builds self-confidence.
GIRLS INCORPORATED OF MONROE COUNTY Exists to provide a supportive environment where a girl can increase her opportunities and reach her potential.
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY Provides decent housing for low-income families, using volunteer labor and donated materials to keep the costs of the house low.
INDIANA UNIVERSITY ART MUSEUM Preserves exhibits, collects research, and publishes and interprets original works of art.
MATHERS MUSEUM OF WORLD CULTURE Preserves cultural artifacts and promotes an understanding of world history and culture.
MIDDLE WAY HOUSE A shelter and rape crisis center for battered women and their dependent children.
MONROE COUNTY COURT APPOINTED SPECIAL ADVOCATE (CASA) PROGRAM Provides advocacy services to child victims of physical abuse, sexual abuse, and neglect. Volunteers represent children in the court process and ensure that the best interest of the child remains at the forefront in the justice and welfare systems.
MONROE COUNTY HISTORICAL MUSEUM Collects, preserves, interprets and displays materials and artifacts, which reflect the cultural and natural history of Monroe County and Indiana.
MONROE COUNTY HUMANE ASSOCIATION Promotes respect and responsibility for all animals through Humane Education and Community Outreach Programs.
MONROE COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY Responsible for providing free library services to individuals of all ages that meet their educational, informational, and recreational interests and needs.
RSVP (RETIRED & SENIOR VOLUNTEER PROGRAM) RSVP helps connect people 55 and older with opportunities to serve their community.
SERVICE CORPS OF RETIRED EXECUTIVES (SCORE) Functioning under the auspices of the U.S. Small Business Administration, this volunteer organization advises individuals wishing to start a business, as well as those operating existing enterprises, both for profit and nonprofit.
SHELTER, INC. Provides shelter and other services to homeless individuals and families.
T.C. STEELE STATE HISTORIC SITE Formerly the home of artist T.C. Steele, this 211-acre facility includes Steele's house and studio, four hiking trails, the Dewar Log Cabin, and the 92-acre Selma Steele Nature Preserve.
VOLUNTEERS IN TUTORING ADULT LEARNERS (VITAL) Provides one-on-one tutoring and other educational services to persons desiring increased literacy skills, including GED high school equivalency and English as a second language.
WONDERLAB MUSEUM OF SCIENCE, HEALTH & TECHNOLOGY The museum is dedicated to hands-on learning in science, health, and technology.
WYLIE HOUSE Preserves and interprets the history of the Wylie family and the early history of Bloomington and I.U.
