Dining & Catering Services

The Meadowood Health Pavilion has two diningrooms that take into account the special requirements of its residents. Health Pavilion food services and menus are the same as in main dining room.

The social hub of Meadowood is the evening meal. It is a time when residents get together in the beautiful dining room and meet each other, trade anecdotes and get into the occasional profound discussion. A number of lasting friendships have started in this room.

Dining at Meadowood is akin to dining at a restaurant in a fine hotel. Comfortable seating, linen, an attentive wait staff and last – but far from least – good food. From traditional comfort foods to more ambitious culinary fare, the Meadowood cooking staff strives to provide variety and quality.

All residents receive one meal per day (30 or 31 per month) to divide between dinner and lunch, which is served buffet style. Menus are made available well in advance, but residents need not make their selection until meal time.

Residents with special dietary concerns or restrictions are treated individually. The staff prides itself on knowing the preferences and requirements of each resident and seamlessly integrates these inclinations into each meal.

Quoting Meadowood Resident Leo Fay:

The cooking is superb. So often institution food gets to you, but I haven’t had that problem here. They keep changing the menu. I would say it’s very high quality. I bring friends here and they’re always surprised. . . . The service is excellent too.
