Exercise Programs

 

Regular exercise of appropriate intensity is recognized as necessary for personal health. Meadowood is dedicated to providing exercise programs, which are appropriate to the needs of residents. Some exercise opportunities are offered free of charge on-site, while others are accessed through Bloomington Parks and Recreation and YMCA programming. Here are a few of the exercise programs available to our residents:

  • Exercise classes – 3 times a week with an Exercise Trainer
  • Hiking Club (2x month)
  • Tai Chi – 2 times a week
  • Meditation class weekly
  • Strength Training in our Exercise/Weight Room
  • Cardiosplash at the YMCA
  • Weekly Mall Walks
