Meadowood's Beautiful Grounds, Landscaping and Campus Map

Meadowood is situated on 33 beautifully landscaped acres designed by Fritz Loomstein. In 1995 the residents dedicated the Wells Sanctuary in honor of Dr. Herman B Wells and his dream. Boasting a gazebo, lovely flowerbeds, and a pond accented with a lighted fountain, the Sanctuary is an attractive feature not only for residents, but for local wildlife as well.

Quoting Janice Lilly, Daughter of a Meadowood Resident:

I’m very impressed.
. . . I like the location a lot because of the natural woodsy setting.

The Wells Sanctuary includes a pond, nature paths, gazebo, walking bridges, a diverse and interesting range of landscaped plantings and a lighted fountain.
